With all the negativity that is floating in our midst, it is high time to talk about something that is positive and feels good for a change. Buti na lang at napanuod ko sa YouTube ang feature ng News to Go ng GMA News TV tungkol sa solar bulbs sa San Pedro, Laguna. Ang solar bulb ay gawa sa bote ng 1.5L softdrink, tubig, konting bleach, piraso ng yero at sealant – mga materyales na madaling hanapin at bilhin. Ayon kay Illac Diaz, promotor ng proyektong ito (panuorin sa video), there is Science behind this, refraction my dear readers, hindi ko na ii-explain and you can just ask my best friend Google for details.

Isang Litrong Liwanag (A Liter of Light), is a sustainable lighting project which aims to bring the eco-friendly Solar Bottle Bulb to disprivileged communities nationwide. Designed and developed by students from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the Solar Bottle Bulb is based on the principles of Appropriate Technologies – a concept that provides simple and easily replicable technologies that address basic needs in developing communities.
Kung ito na lang sana ang pagkakaabalahan ng ating mahal na simbahan para makatulong sa mga naghihikahos na mga Pinoy kesa magpuputak tungkol sa RH Bill, papalakpak pa ako at baka mapa-simba ako ng regular (matagal na akong di nagsisimba, patawad). Ito ang klase ng proyekto na dapat suportahan ng pamahalaan, talagang may liwanag ang bukas, Amen.
