A five seater
Cesna 172 Piper Seneca plane reportedly carrying DILG Sec. Jesse Robredo crashed off the island of Masbate. The plane’s pilot sent a distress call to Masbate airport at about 5pm requesting for an emergency landing. The plane did not make it to the airport and crashed 3 kilometers from the airport in Masbate Bay. Engine failure is said to have caused the crash. (from DILG’s Twitter account)
Let’s all pray for the safety of Secretary Robredo and his companions. (He is the first Filipino Mayor to receive the Ramon Magsaysay Award for Government Service in 2000.)
