Ramon Bautista: Arts Ambassador?

– Ramon Bautista’s answer on his ambition (PEP Interview, Apr 2010)

arts ambassadorsI can tell that your kilay is getting a little bit higher but let me explain my prognosis, dudes and dudettes,  Art has been perceived by some as belonging to some social classes and often excluding others. In this context, art is seen as an upper-class activity associated with wealth, the ability to purchase art, and the leisure required to pursue or enjoy it – sabi ni Wikipedia, and based on that premise we should encourage the enjoyment of art by all socio-demographic backgrounds, from those living in their shiny enclaves in Forbes Park to the denizens of Maricaban, Pasay, to all the madlang pipol living in their humble abode all over the 7,107 islands of the Republic of the Philippines (high tide o low tide?)

Kaya napili ko si Ramon Bautista to become the next PIAF Arts Ambassador,  move over Dingdong at Richard here comes the superbly awesome Arts Ambassador. Maybe you are asking, why Ramon Bautista? Is it because 2012 is the end of the world as Mayans have predicted? Of course not, but if it is going to be the end of humankind as we know it then we’re gonna have an Arts party like there’s no tomorrow, right?

Kidding aside, if we really wanna get the youth to get involve in PIAF, then we should get Mr. Bautista (so formal, Mr. Bautista). For those of you who are not in the know, he is an “Internet superstar,” popular music VJ then DJ, and an in demand commercial model.

Check out his videos to get a glimpse of awesomeness.

Trust me itsalottafan.

Till my next rant. Peace.🙂

PS.: Your comments will be much appreciated. But if it is negative then I might not appreciate it as much but I would still approve it. This is a free country after all. Hehehe. Anyway this is just a dream, libre ang mangarap, right?

Update: Di tayo nagtagumpay ngayong 2012 kaya let’s go for 2013, or 2014…hangga’t di pa natutuloy yung end of the world.🙂
