Naiintindihan ko ang galit ng aking mga kapwa Pinoy sa komento ng Amerikanong komedyante at radio show host na si Adam Carolla ukol sa ating boxing hero na si Manny Pacquiao at sa ating mahal na bansang Pilipinas. But do I care about his opinion? Hell, No. Does his opinion matter? I don’t think so. Because at the end of the day, what I think about my country is more important than the tirade of an American comedian who I have not heard of up until he took notice of our Pambansang Kamao and our devotion to his greatness inside the ring.
Let’s just save our time and energy for the things that really matter, the elections is just around the corner and between Carolla’s rants and Gloria’s attempt to win a congressional seat, the latter deserves our outrage. Because if she wins, I guess it will only dignify his comments on our intelligence.
